Day 1: Arrival in Port Blair – Cellular Jail, Fisheries Museum, Carbyn’s Cove Beach & Light & Sound Show

Upon arrival at Veer Savarkar Airport in Port Blair, our representative will greet you and assist with your hotel check-in. Take some time to relax at your accommodation before enjoying lunch. Later in the afternoon, embark on a journey through Andaman’s historical and scenic marvels.

Cellular Jail: A significant landmark in India’s fight for independence, this three-story colonial-era prison stands as a national memorial. Built by the British in 1906, the jail has witnessed the suffering of numerous freedom fighters.

Fisheries Museum: A must-visit attraction, this museum showcases the diverse marine life of the Andaman Islands. It features an aquarium with various fish species, corals, and shells, offering an insightful glimpse into the region’s aquatic biodiversity.

Carbyn’s Cove Beach: Just 8 km from Port Blair, this palm-fringed beach is known for its serene atmosphere, clear blue waters, and thrilling water activities such as jet skiing, boating, and water scootering. The beach is surrounded by restaurants offering delicious local cuisine.

Light & Sound Show at Cellular Jail: In the evening, witness a captivating show narrating the stories of India’s independence struggle. This immersive experience brings the past to life through sound and visuals.

Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Port Blair. Note: If the Light & Sound Show is canceled due to weather or maintenance, alternative arrangements will be made if possible.

Day 2: North Bay Island & Ross Island Excursion

After an early breakfast, depart at 9:00 AM from the Water Sports Complex for an exciting island-hopping adventure.

North Bay Island: Explore the rich underwater marine life with snorkeling or a glass-bottom boat ride (at an additional cost). This island is known for its vibrant coral reefs and exotic fish species.

Ross Island: Once the British administrative headquarters, this island now stands as a relic of the past, with ruins of colonial structures. Visit Smritika, a small museum displaying British-era artifacts. The island is also home to friendly deer and lush green walking trails.

Return to Port Blair for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Port Blair to Havelock – Radhanagar Beach – Return to Port Blair

Start the day with a ferry ride to Havelock Island, one of the most picturesque destinations in the Andaman Archipelago.

Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7): Recognized as the ‘Best Beach in Asia’ by Time Magazine, this stunning beach is lined with swaying coconut palms and boasts pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters. Enjoy a relaxing day soaking in the breathtaking views or indulging in local and international delicacies at beachside cafes.

Later, board the ferry back to Port Blair and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Baratang Island – Limestone Caves & Mud Volcano

Depart early for a road journey to Baratang Island, passing through dense tropical forests and the Jarawa Tribal Reserve. There is a possibility of spotting members of the indigenous Jarawa tribe during the trip.

Limestone Caves: Cross the bay via a boat ride, followed by a trek through lush forests to reach the fascinating limestone caves. These caves, formed by calcite deposits, showcase incredible natural formations.

Mud Volcano: A short walk from Nilambur Jetty leads to this unique natural phenomenon. The bubbling mud craters, formed due to the emission of natural gases, are a rare geological feature, making this site one of the few in the world where mud volcanoes exist.

Return to Port Blair via the same route and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 5: Departure from Port Blair via Anthropological Museum

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit the Anthropological Museum before heading to the airport.

Anthropological Museum: This well-maintained museum offers a deep insight into the indigenous tribes of the Andaman Islands, including the Jarawas, Onges, Sentinelese, Shompens, and Nicobarese. Key exhibits include tribal artifacts such as chest guards, shamanic sculptures, and ancient tools.

Following this enriching experience, transfer to the airport for your onward journey, bringing an end to an unforgettable Andaman adventure with Mystic Meridians.
